Tender cake made of flaky puff pastry layers and custard is very tasty and creamy. I recommend you to cook this dessert for your family!

Ingredients
DOUGH:
- 420 g. Flour
- 300 g. Butter
- 1 pcs. Egg
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 10 g. Vinegar
- 110 ml. Water
CUSTARD:
- 2 pcs. Eggs
- 180 g. Sugar
- 45 g. Corn starch
- 600 ml. Milk
- Vanillin
- 120 g. Butter

Instructions
For the dough
- Sift the flour into a deep bowl. Grate cold butter on the coarse grater.
- Stir until you get a fine crumb.
- Whisk 1 egg with salt and vinegar. Add cold water.
- Mix all the ingredients together.
- Dust the table with the flour. Knead the dough. Divide it into 8 pieces. Form small balls.
- Transfer them to the plate, covered with the thin layer of flour. Cover the plate with cling film and transfer it to the fridge for 2 hours.
- Take 1 part of the dough and dust it with the flour. Roll it into a thin circle. Cut off the edges.
- Cover baking tray with the parchment. Arrange the layer of the cake and pierce it with a fork. Bake for 7 minutes at 200 °C.
- Do the same thing with the rest of the layers.
For the cream
- Combine 2 eggs with sugar, vanilla and cornstarch. Whisk this mass.
- Pour in milk.
- Set the pan over low heat. Cook the custard, stirring constantly.
- Once it is thickened, add cream and mix everything until well-combined.
- Cover it with cling film. Leave the custard to cool down.
Assembling the cake
- Crumble 1 puff pastry sheet.
- Cover the edges of the plate with wide strips of the parchment. Smear on some custard on the plate.
- Place the first puff pastry sheet in the middle of the plate. Cover it with the layer of custard.
- Do the same thing with the rest of layers. Cover the sides of your dessert with remaining custard.
- Decorate your cake with crumbles. Get rid of the parchment.
- Leave the cake to cool down. Enjoy your meal!
